The Important Details

Chippewa is pleased to offer its services and facilities for tournament play, accommodating groups as small as 16, or as large as 240 people. Our experienced staff is eager to work with you to make your event a great success. Please review the details presented here, such as our rules and regulations, and meal plans, as well as reviewing our tournament pricing insert sheet. If you have further questions, or wish to discuss booking your event, please contact our General Manager, or our Tournament Coordinator.

Bookings, Deposits and Payments:
Bookings are taken on a first-come, first-serve basis, and a Tournament Agreement form is used to outline the essential details for each booking. This form, together with a minimum deposit of $300 is required to secure a time and date for your group. The balance of payment for your tournament is required in full on the day of your event. Chippewa accepts Visa, MasterCard, cash, debit or Corporate cheques. We regret that we do not accept personal cheques. Under certain circumstances, or for special arrangements, a larger deposit may be required. Deposits may also be applied towards no-shows where the number of tournament participants is five or more under the committed total. (A final commitment on the expected group size must be made at least 4 days in advance of the tournament date.) In the event that there are any damages to Chippewa facilities or equipment, deposits may be held until damages are paid.

Power-Carts:
We have a large fleet of electric power-carts for tournament play and the use of carts is encouraged, especially for shotgun tournaments. Many groups include the price for carts in their tournament fee. This ensures carts will be available for all, and it speeds up the check-in and registration process. When carts are not included in the tournament fee package, you can advise participants to reserve them by calling Chippewa in advance and paying for them, individually, on the day of the event. In this circumstance, we cannot guarantee that carts will be available for all who may want them - particularly those who phone in late, or fail to reserve in advance.

Starting and Pace of Play:
We will provide a starting sheet with tee times for you to list the names of all your golfers. This will assist our starters to keep everyone on time and in proper sequence. Our tee times are scheduled every 7 and 8 minutes on the quarter hour (eg.: 9:00, 9:07, 9:15, 9:22, 9:30, etc.). Our on-course Rangers will be available to help your players with pace of play, directions, lost ball, etc. Instruct your group to flag-down a Ranger if required - they are there to help!

Signs and Markers:
Course maps are included on our score-cards and each tee has a sign identifying the hole and its characteristics. Directional signs and roped-off, no-access areas provide further guidance. Yardage markers in the fairways indicate the distance to the middle of greens: Blue=200yds, White=150yds, Red=100yds.

Adverse Weather:
In the case of lightning, a horn will be sounded to alert golfers to seek shelter and return to the clubhouse. Proshop staff will advise when it is safe to resume play. Should the course become unplayable, rain-checks will be given or the tournament may be rescheduled. Play will proceed in the case of light rain, and meal arrangements must be honored regardless of weather.

Contests and Prizes:
We can help you make your tournament more interesting and fun by arranging contests such as closest-to-the-pin, longest drive, and putting competitions. Our Proshop has many perfect items for prizes which are available to tournament organizers at special prices. We can also help you with tournament scoring, if needed, at a flat rate of $50.

Choose one of the following three meat offerings: barbequed chicken breast or barbequed 6 oz beef burger, or barbequed Italian sausage to
accompany your choice of 2 salads from the following offerings: Caesar salad, garden salad, potato salad, or coleslaw.
Home-made pies with coffee and tea will follow the meal.

Our #3 Dinner       $19.00 per person
Choose two from the following three meat offerings: barbequed chicken breast or barbequed 6 oz burger, or barbequed Italian sausage to
accompany your choice of 2 salads from the following offerings: Caesar salad, garden salad, potato salad, pasta salad, or coleslaw.
Home-made pies with coffee and tea will follow the meal.

Our #4 Steak Dinner       $22.00 per person
Our barbequed 10 oz. New York Striploin is served with baked potato, sour cream, dinner rolls and
your choice of 2 salads from the following offerings: Caesar salad, garden salad, pasta salad, or coleslaw.
Home-made pies with coffee and tea will follow the meal.

Our #5 Buffet Platter Lunch       $14.00 per person
Large platters of sliced ham, turkey, pastrami, and roast beef accompany a selection of cheeses, breads and
your choice of 2 salads from the following offerings: Caesar salad, garden salad, potato salad, pasta salad, or coleslaw.
Home-made pies with coffee and tea will follow the meal.

Our #6 Meal at the 10th hole       $6.00 per person
Enjoy a quick bite out on the course after finishing your first nine holes with our Italian sausage on a bun with all the fixings.
This meal is served with a pop or juice or water.

Our #7 Meal at the 10th hole       $5.00 per person
Another option is our hotdog with all the fixings and a drink at the turn.

Customize a meal to suit you

Add:
-A selection of beers to be served with the #6 and #7 meals.      $4.25 per person
-Platters of cheeses and crackers, or platters of vegetables and dips       $2.00 per person
-Baskets of chips or pretzels       $1.00 per person
-A third salad option            $2.00 per person
          (greek salads, fruit salads and corn on the cob are but a few of the added touches available; just let us know if you have any special requests.)
-House wines in 1000ml sized bottles available       $20.00 per bottle
-Special Wines and Spirits may also be ordered in for your event.
